SuperFloppies Keybase Minisite

superfloppies at Keybase

I wanted something a little more meaty than what the default Keybase Markdown parser did, so I used Hugo for this. What can I say, Hugo is my hammer. And I cannot stand plain, unstyled HTML.

If you’re looking for the tip jar address, please look down at the bottom of the page.

The following entities on the Internet are me. Last updated August 27, 2018.

… and of course, superfloppies here on Keybase.

As implied above, my “normal” Web site is located at On the seemingly rare occasion that I have something of an extended length to say or write, that is where it will appear.

Yes, I do have an email address. I check my email (at least) once per day. That is to say, I do not hound my email and expect realtime requests and replies through it. I think of email as the post: I go to the mailbox periodically and handle whatever I find in it.

I am on Mastodon more frequently than I check email, so if you want a faster response, that’s where you’ll get it.

SSH Public Key

If you do not know what this is, you have no use for it. The rest of you know what this is for. You can also download it instead of copy+paste, if that’s more your thing.

My OpenPGP key ID is 0F0986CAF98E82CC9B43E2C7D1856696A0200CC0, and you can get the key from various keyservers around the Internet.

I am available for consulting on an hourly basis, via the Internet. Contact me via Mastodon or email. I am available to consult on the following sorts of things:

Real-time consulting is charged hourly ($65 per hour USD), while “asynchronous consultation” is billed on a more affordable basis. I prefer to accept payments in Bitcoin.

I most often just hang out and help with small issues on the Mastodon federated social network.

Tip Jar

My “tip jar” is the Bitcoin address 13f3ft8mcrP8pRRrZj2LXEEpvQXph5MjKa. If you have a Bitcoin wallet installed on the device you’re reading this from, you can conveniently tip now, if you’d like.

I was asked to put the tip jar up, and I thought it was a great idea, so I did. If I have helped you out in some way, and you’d like to show your appreciation, putting a tip in the jar is the most effective way to do it. Aside from the fact that it pays for the food and medicine required for me to remain comfortable, it shows me that I’m being useful.
